Media Message Development Workshop 04 June, 2018

Two days ‘Training/Orientation Package/ Media Message Development Workshop’ was conducted in Kathmandu on 18th and 19th April 2018. This workshop was organized by National Association of PLHA in Nepal (NAP+N) with the support of NCASC under the Targeted Intervention Programme.
The intent of this workshop was to develop media message i.e. PSA: Public Service Announcement, content for orientation package to local elected bodies and training package on human right and medical ethics related to HIV/AIDS for health workers.
The main objective of the workshop was to develop PSA, orientation package to to local bodies and training guideline to health workers related to HIV/AIDS.
Mr. Basu Dev Pandey, Director of NCASC and guest Mr. Bishowram Shrestha, Health Coordinator of Kathmandu Metropolitan city were the chief guest of the workshop.It was the goal of Targeted Intervention Programme that the useful, effective, best and fruitful PSA: public service announcement, content of orientation package and training be developed by enrolling the ideas of experts from different field. The participants were from different cohort: government offices, I/NGOS, Media Group, Bar Association etc.The news was covered by Sagarmatha Television and broadcasted on the program “Hamro Aviyan Episode 41”.
