With the support of FHI360 EpiC Nepal project, NAP+N is implementing HIV prevention, care, support and treatment services among people living with HIV (PLHIV) in Nepal along with advocacy for policy and regulatory environment that supports increased availability of and accessibility of quality services and domestic resource mobilization.

EpiC Nepal FY21 Regional Operational Plan (ROP) focuses on attaining and maintaining HIV epidemic control among KPs, PPs and other high-risk people, improving program management and strengthening capacity of local implementing partner agencies (IPs). EpiC Nepal will focus on optimizing differentiated HIV prevention including rapid scale-up of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), maximizing efficient HIV case detection, optimizing treatment initiation on the same day or within seven days of diagnosis, improving treatment adherence and retention, optimizing viral load (VL) testing and suppression, and improving the quality of client-centered HIV services and institutionalizing PrEP, the One National HIV Information System (ONHIS), and other essential activities needed to sustain epidemic control.
Period of Performance: October 1, 2020-September 30, 2021

Objective 1: Attain and maintain HIV epidemic control among at-risk adult men, women and priority populations (PPs);
Objective 2: Attain and maintain HIV epidemic control among KPs;
Objective 3: Improve program management including Health Information System (HIS) and human resource for health (HRH) and financial systems to ensure attainment and maintenance of epidemic control; and
Objective 4: Support the transition of prime funding and implementation to enable local partners to meet the PEPFAR goal of 70% of funding to local partners by 2020.
